
Marketing Campaign Design
Linger by Hetty Lui McKinnon
As the lead designer, I created a comprehensive integrated marketing campaign for Hetty Lui McKinnon's book, Linger, ensuring all assets were cohesive and aligned with the book's core visual identity. By collaborating closely with the marketer, I was able to leverage the book’s internal imagery, including original illustrations and Hetty's personal photography, to highlight its intimate and seasonal themes across multiple platforms. The final assets received approval from the company director and the heads of publicity and marketing.
For the digital aspects of the campaign, I created social media tiles for Instagram and Meta advertising, and a static digital lightwall advertisement. I also developed Amazon A+ content to enhance the book's online presence and provide a richer user experience for potential buyers.
In addition to digital assets, I produced several print materials. This included a custom A6 recipe card for Dymocks, which featured an exclusive recipe and a QR code for direct access to the product page. I also designed a custom bookplate for Hetty to sign and a quarter-page ad for Readings Monthly. This ad strategically showcased both Linger and her previous bestseller, Community, by incorporating the book's illustrations and 3D mockups.
